Thread: Parents

We often take out parents for granted and sometimes say things to them which we don't mean but just say them, but hardly get a chance to show our love, how much we love them or show our care towards them.
For unfortunate reasons i don't have my parents with me and i know that i regret the times when i was with my parents as i wasn't the best child that i should have been, and i sometimes did take them for granted, but it was till later that i realized i should have been loving towards them, showed them my love and not said things which i did not mean, as they must have taken those words to heart.

Someone once said to me that you can make any relation with anyone in the world, anyone can be your friend, your husband but no one can ever take the place of your parents...........and this is something very very true.

This is true that sometimes we say all that but in my case this thing use to happen when i was very young like.. hmmm till 21 or something but now whenever i talk or discuss anything at home i just try to keep my words in control.

thats good, i suppose its easy to shout or say things to your parents as you know that they wont say anything to you and no matter what you say to them they will always be by your side.

Even I was out of home for 5 years just came back home few days back

Took me too long to learn ... As a youngster i was pretty certain that everything i said was right ... Always a "i will decide for myself" guy ... Well they were nice enough to always let me have my way and supported me thru it all even if they were against it ... Even now they only try to guide me ... and are pretty receptive towards my decision regardless of their opinion ....

And yeah as you grow older and mature .... you just start realizing your mistakes ....

But i have to say that some people have this sense in them from a young age, which is very good. Its a shame that i wasn't gifted with this sense when i was young, or even if i realized what parents actually are i would have been able to show and give the love they deserved from me.

I don't think i even done anything good in my life to make them feel proud of me, which is the worst part.

I don't remember the last time i busted out my anger or shouted on someone
Not sure why but i always try to stay in control and cool (means in proper sences) may be that's my biggest drawback
when i was not able to connect for 14 days then also i never abused and shouted on sify associates..:mellow: missed all that fun which admin enjoyed a lot

Me too man ... just could nt get myself to bust those Sify guys ... it seems only certain people have that talent ...

Preeti u deserve a repo for this topic.
Parents..They have always been with me,at my good and bad times. Whatever mistakes i make,they have tried to calm me down..But i don't think i have been fair to them..Whenever they used to say i was not on a proper path i used to get on to the heated arguments,Later i would realize that i have done mistakes and would apologize to them, but what's the point??/i would have already make them feel bad.The biggest problem with me is that my mind was not that stable i used to continue to do the same thing....I hate myself now when i think about that part of my life....
I remember a saying "The ones who scold and tell you do that for your good..and the ones who laugh and tell you don't wish your good"
This saying is so much well said in my Mother tongue...

From past 1 month i have changed my attitude i am so reformed now..I keep my cool whatever situation may come...I love my parents so much...MUSIC has helped me alot in this reformation...

Today where Iam now,its all bcos of my parents.....
Without their support I wouldn't have reached this level....
They have brought me to a level from where I can take care of them.
I will make sure....I take care of them rest of their life...

Well things in my my life are not so pleasant , i wasted every bit of my life just make them happy , peaceful , a good being from my prospective, but no , i just ended up screwing my entire spent life.
The thing make most parents happy was over done by me , the position people dream to reach, i got therE but no appreciation at alll, why!!!!

You know why my location is hell? Its because of them
don't take me wrong, i luv my parents, i would shed every bit of my blood for them, but for what ,to see them fighting again!!

But then a few weeks ago i gave up , n took decision to just forget it!
It will change their life, n everyone elses too

what is it?
If u liv for next 21 yrs ,then every person on this planet will c , what i chooseed thst day.

I m sorry for what i m abut to do in next 21 years,
please 4give me mom n dad and mankind

It is fair to say that I hated my muim when I was younger. I never appreciated anything she did for me and nor did I want to. It wasn't until I grew up and had my own family, that I realised how important she is to me, and what a difficult child I must have been.

Even i don't take my parents for granted

whenever my mom ask's me not to come home late nite i really don't go back at nite i just go back early morning only

Yeah i agree with you.There are times where we cannot able to show our love to our parents.In such situations it is really heartbreaking.
