Thread: Mac OS X 10.6.8 BSNL broadband connection

I've been trying to connect to BSNL broadband on mac os x 10.6.8, but I'm unable to open any sites on it.. internet is conecting (giving wrong password gives authentication failure), but browsers say no internet access... any help???

give details of the modem/model/number.
Mode of connection.
using external dialer ( "bridged") or
PPPoE ( always on )your id/PW stored in the modem.

ZXDSL 831AII is written on my modem.
Don't know about this "bridged" option..
but in ubuntu, making a simple DSL connection with my username and password works (with IPv4 set to PPPoE).

go to settings>network>then add wifi if u trying to connect via wifi or ethernet if u trying via cable
