After A-star, Zen Estilo, SX4 & Ritz, Maruti Suzuki has decided to put K series engine in their another successful models Swift & Swift Dzire. K series engines are famous for there fuel efficiency values & are also helpful in controlling pollution. Adding this engine the new models will deliver 84bhp of max power at 6000 rpm & 113 Nm of max torque.

As per Maruti Suzuki, Swift petrol K series engine has given a maximum mileage of 18 kmpl in there test drives. They have also updated the transmission system to improve over all performance. So the new Swift got a powerful 1197 cc 4 cylinder 16 valve K series petrol engine.

Maruti had recently hiked the prices of all there car models except few & Swift was one of them.
