Last month Maruti Suzuki announced about their operations in South Asian Markets. In addition to that from the 27th of January’10 company has started exporting, the latest model in India, Maruti Suzuki Ritz to Indonesia. A first lot contained K-series1.2 litre engine, 500 Ritz cars. The Company has sold out around 45,000 cars in India since its release in India last year in May.

Maruti Suzuki has already exporting their other brand A-star hatchback in European market. A-star is been exported under the brand name of Suzuki. Till now Maruti has exported over 1 Lakh A-star cars to European Market. A-star is now exported to 44 countries around the world.

Maruti Suzuki in also planning to enter new markets around the world, naming South America, Africa, the Middle East and Australia, with its compact cars.
