Maruti Ritz is a small car developed by Maruti-Suzuki, designed to zip through the clogged city roads, while zoom through the long highways. The car provides high fuel efficiency together with a noise less drive.

Ritz offers high mileage of a 17.7 kmpl for the petrol engine and a 21.1 kmpl on the diesel engine. The engines used in the Ritz are K12 in the petrol unit and the DDisS diesel engine which are designed to give optimum performance with its smooth yet high power. The engines also have features such as Double Overhead Camshaft, Drive by Wire technology, Offset Crankshaft, Plastic intake manifold and Chain drive. The car gives a maximum power of 85 ps at the rate of 6000 rpm and a torque of 113 Nm at the rate of 4500 rpm for the petrol engine. The diesel counterpart gives a maximum power of 75 ps at the rate of 4000 rpm with the torque of 190 Nm at the rate of 2000 rpm.

The interior of the car is designed such that it smoothes the rough road. The height adjustable seats, tilt adjustable steering, shoulder-height adjustable seat belts, ergonomically placed gearshift and steering mounted controls are the features that add to the comfort of the driver and passengers. The independent front suspension and the natural steering make maneuvering of the car very easy and smooth.
