Rep Power: 5 | I know - logic says Innova but Civic is so sexy. My brother-in-law has an Innova and it is quite cool too and very reliable. So I have no prejudice against a diesel car. CNG is not an option in Pune. My finances are not in order yet. I have lost a few in the stocks. But the silver lining is that my employer is introducing a car lease policy wherein EMI will be directly paid to the vendor and will be deducted pre-tax (not shown on my F-16). This effectively means I can save 35% immediately and hence it becomes very attractive. Of course the policy is not clearly spelled out completely - only the limit has been set. If this policy is spelled correctly, I will go for the Civic; else I will go for the Innova. What I don't like about the Civic is its low ground clearance. Otherwise, it is difficult to find any fault with it (other than being petrol). Toyota is coming out with the Altis from Sep 5. They are quite tight lipped about it and it is not clear whether it is a new car or replacement for Corolla or Innova. My guess is that it is a car in the Honda-City / Maruti-SX4 segment.

Rep Power: 10 | LOL no I normally spend the first 2-3 mins looking for any flying objects in the car and do not move untill I get the bugger out of the car I once spent about 10 mins to get a fly out of the car and it just wont go out regardless of my do or die efforts so I came out of the car and turned the heat on (this was when summer was at its peak) I went back inside the house and waited for about 15-20 mins.. got into the car turned the ac on and found the fly dead on the dash board... dry and roasted to death.. there on it was just a tissue which did the job Its so annoying to drive when you know there is a fly hoovering around you. It should be made illegal to drive with a fly or any other insect inside your car as that can cause an accident and I am sure many accidents are caused due to flies in particular. |
