He is willing to pay a premium of 12-15k if some one has booked this car and is due for dilevery soon and dont want it anymore

Please PM me or respond here by leaving a reply

Same story in Pune. The waiting time is 6+ months and some even say 9 months.

Why is your friend wasting a good 12-15K on this model? To me, the Swift (orig) is more 'desirable' because of its Mini-Cooper look . But I guess that it is the choice of the individual.

I really don't understand why people still had to wait for six plus months to get their car delivered in this fast paced world! Why not those car manufacturers make it ready to meet the demand and then start advertising instead of making them wait!!

Hi, recently i brought Dzire VDi >> and it comes within 2 months.

Every body said for 6 months, but if you make a mind to purchase and booked >> they delivered within 2 months.

I don't think so that dealers are charging premium (black), if any body said, report to maruti >> they will cancel the dealership.

So if you are really interested to wonder car >> go and book it by say 51K.

    Congratulations centrexindia

We would all love to get some feed back and an ongoing review of your new car if you could possibly spare some time to write about your car.

    Thanks

If I had the money I would buy the Civic but unfortunatly for me its just too much money for me to spend on a car

Honda Civic is one of the best cars ever launched in that segment and in my opinion its THE BEST. Althought Honda Civic is known for its fuel effecience across the globe but it would still drill a hole in your pocket if you compare it with any diesel car.

In India right now and for atleast 5 more years.. Diesel is the way to go. Petrol is going to get more and more costlier in time to come and Diesel will still continue to be a lot more cheaper then Petrol as it impacts inflation instantly and it would be a political suicide for any government to decrease diesel subsidy and bring it at par with petrol.

Diesel also gives you more kilometres for ever litre you burn but also costs less.

The main reason petrol cars still sell is they cost a lot less then diesle cars traditionally and their maintanance is less and in India we have a pre defined idea of diesel cars that they have to much engine noise inside the car and a lot of vibration but thats a thing of the past.

Its a different story if you plan to run a honda civic on CNG, My friend runs his Honda CRV on CNG here in Delhi and it costs him less then Rs2 per kilometer.

Toyota will come out with a new model very soon and phase out Innova ... I think there was something in newspapers a few months ago about this I am not too sure.

I know - logic says Innova but Civic is so sexy.

My brother-in-law has an Innova and it is quite cool too and very reliable. So I have no prejudice against a diesel car.

CNG is not an option in Pune.

My finances are not in order yet. I have lost a few in the stocks. But the silver lining is that my employer is introducing a car lease policy wherein EMI will be directly paid to the vendor and will be deducted pre-tax (not shown on my F-16). This effectively means I can save 35% immediately and hence it becomes very attractive. Of course the policy is not clearly spelled out completely - only the limit has been set. If this policy is spelled correctly, I will go for the Civic; else I will go for the Innova.

What I don't like about the Civic is its low ground clearance. Otherwise, it is difficult to find any fault with it (other than being petrol).

Toyota is coming out with the Altis from Sep 5. They are quite tight lipped about it and it is not clear whether it is a new car or replacement for Corolla or Innova. My guess is that it is a car in the Honda-City / Maruti-SX4 segment.

If you like burning some rubber every once in a while then Civic is a lot more fun And getting a fly or a mosquito out of a civic is a lot more easier then an Innova

LOL. That is a good point. Did a mosquite make life miserable when you once slept inside the Innova?

LOL no I normally spend the first 2-3 mins looking for any flying objects in the car and do not move untill I get the bugger out of the car

I once spent about 10 mins to get a fly out of the car and it just wont go out regardless of my do or die efforts so I came out of the car and turned the heat on (this was when summer was at its peak) I went back inside the house and waited for about 15-20 mins.. got into the car turned the ac on and found the fly dead on the dash board... dry and roasted to death.. there on it was just a tissue which did the job

Its so annoying to drive when you know there is a fly hoovering around you.
It should be made illegal to drive with a fly or any other insect inside your car as that can cause an accident and I am sure many accidents are caused due to flies in particular.
