Any UPS needs batteries. ( and they are recharged/ float charge when power is restored )
I Presume your computer is a laptop , with back up battery.
Any car12V battery or Motor cycle battery 2 6V+6V type can be used for the modem reqd supply 12V DC 1.2 amp. Note DC.
The batteries can be recharged at nearly battery service center once a week or depending on usage. ( or you have to buy a battery charger separately ).
Mention model model and correctly the power Input. AC or DC
My Mt882 needs 12 V AC input.
I am new member of this community and thanks for welcoming me. Please help me out with the following problem. Currently i am using BSNL broad band. Now when there is no electricity i cannot use it. I have investigated about UPS(Inverter) but that is very costly >10K. I do not need to run fans, tubelights etc. Is there any alternate solution like cheap UPS which can run my broadband modem for 3-4 hrs? Or can i use batteries (because it takes DB 12v 1.2amp input). Please advise. Thanks in advance.
dat doesnt solves my problem dude.......even my lappy doesnt recognize my network.......damit....wht to do .........m badly pissed off........anything other to do in its setting or wht???
