    Question Idea netsetter

    Anyone from western UP circle please tell me about the IDEA NETSETTER prepaid plan..

    i want to know about its cost( of usb hardware) and the prepaid plans..

    i have written to the customer care, but the response is quite confusing..

    please someone help about this...

    when i went to the shop, they asked me 2450/- for the data card, and 750 for ul scheme....


    i want to know if the speed is ok, and if i dont recharge some month, than what will happen??

    Don't go for idea netsetter . Their tariffs seems to be attractive , but performance is very poor. You will get a speed less than 10KBps.

    Prepaid Plans

    For starters, Idea has an introductory offer for its customers giving 50 MB worth of free download and above that, an additional of 1 paise/10KB will be levied. However, for avid net surfers, there's an unlimited plan with a daily charge of Rs. 30.

    Value Proposition :

    * Rs. 50 bill discount for 12 bill cycles thus giving a total benefit of Rs. 600/- over a year (applicable for all post paid customers)
    * Service Tax will be charged as applicable
    * SMS Local / National / International will be charged as Rs. 1/- /Rs. 2/- / Rs. 5/-respectively.
    * Home tariff will be applicable while roaming on Idea network, on non-idea networks charge of 10 paise / 10 kB is applicable towards GPRS usage.
    In Edge coverage area only u will get 247kbit/s rest of the area only the GPRS speed ie 85.6 kbit/s.

    really idea netsetter gives worst speed i was told that speed will be 80kbps but it is only b/n 7-10kb in edge enabled area so dont buy idea netsetter even there when i approah its head then i was told that its max speed is only b/n 7-10kbps

    they have different plans for different states you will have to check on their web site idea tellecommunications to get the prepaid plans..

    i would rather suggest you to buy micromax modem and use airtel sim this wil be cheapest option possible...
