    Default Glink Cdma Usb modem

Well I've heard that Glink Cdma usb modem supported all cdma networks including Tata,Reliance or anyother network plus the speed is at least 256kbps or more to surf the net easily then what's the need to buy tata or reliance plug to surf usb modem which only supports their specified Cdma network still I'ven't reach to conclusion but if it is true what we r hearing It is a damn good thing for usb modem fraternity what U say ?unk:

the theoritical maximum on a CDMA 1x network is 155 kbps. no modem can get u more than that.

CDMA EVDO (Rev.0 and Rev.A) gives much higher speeds. The EDVO Rev.A data service of Relliance (Netconnect BB+) advertises maximum speeds of 3.1 mbps and would definitely give u more than 1 mbps stable speed. But it does not come with a SIM and to no. is hard coded into the device.

presently BSNL & TATA Indicom Photon are operating on EVDO Rev.0 and Relinace Netconnect BB+ is operating on EVDO Rev.A. Out of these only TATA indicom comes with a SIM. In case of BSNL & Reliance the No. is hardcoded into the device so can not be used with any other modem.
The normal plug2surf is a CDMA 1x device and can not support EVDO service.
