Four of these work on EDGE networks and of Reliance i dont know much...

I will tell people to check their local Aircel network and take their 50Rs./- sim card and have a edge enabled phone of Nokia/Moto/samsung etc...and do internet with that...

nothing to be shocked.. i heard some NRI guy telling (in the same forum that you are currently viewing)that he got 2kbps speed with Airtel stick...

i dont need to fill their pockets to get GPRS network.. should i??

Reliance, TATA Indicom and BSNL CDMA now use EVDO in DATA Cards which offer true mobile high speed access of average 1 mbps and higher. These services are practically 3G services and can not be compared with EDGE.
