Rep Power: 1 | Access Internet with Virgin Vlink USB Data Card! Virgin Mobile too has joined the bandwagon of Internet data card and is offering excellent plans of internet connectivity through their newly launched Virgin vLink data card. It is a joint venture of Virgin Group and Tata Telecom. The wireless internet data card comes at reasonable price and you have reasonable plans too. Installation of the Virgin vLink data card requires no complicated step. You just need to plug in and get started without any CD installation. Just you have to enter the user ID and password to connect the internet immediately. It is safe and there is no risk of getting your personal information stolen by mal-practice. You will off course need one Virgin SIM card activated before you start using a Virgin vLink data card. Ask the retail outlet to provide you a SIM if you don’t have one while you buy the data card. Plans of Virgin vLink data card: The USB Stick of Virgin comes in just Rs.2100 and has introduced two plans for now. The first plan comes for just Rs. 349 per month with limited internet access as well limited download. In this plan the users have to pay 0.25 paise/min during day hours (from 8 am to 10 pm) and 0.12 paise/min during night hours (from 10pm to 8am). The other plans come in just Rs.801 per month where users have access to unlimited usage of internet. There is limited download in this plan. Virgin gives the facility to roll over the unused balance to the subsequent months within a grace period if it is recharged! This facility makes the Virgin vLink data card a good choice for those who wish to get the balanced GB rolled to next month. You don’t have to use internet unnecessarily to finish the GB for which you have paid. As promotional offer the Virgin vLink data card is now offered at discount price with unlimited usage for the first month. Besides that the USB modem of the Virgin vLink data card can store data of 1GB in it. In fact Virgin Mobile is the first to introduce a device that can be used as CDMA USB modem as well as USB storage. The company claims that the data card enables a speed of 153 Kpbs even at the peak hours. Features of Virgin vLink data card: * Virgin vLink functions as CDMA USB modem. * It also acts as a storage device with storing capacity of 1 GB. * The device comes with all the drivers, so no CD installation is required. Just plug and play. * It offers surfing speeds of up to 153 kbps. * V-link supports different standards formats to store music, pictures, videos & data. * It also has SMS facilities like other data cards * Wireless surfing of Internet at high speed, send/receive messages and reliable performance. You can download large files in very less time. There is no fluctuation of speed as in case of other USB modems of other network. The uniformity maintained by the Virgin vLink makes it perfect for wireless internet connection. |
