the MTNL CDMA data facility has been around for more than 3 years.
Its CDMA 1x 2000 technology with a theoritical maximum limit of 144 kbps. It can also work on any open CDMA mobile handset with inbuilt modem using the MTNL RUIM.
Costwise, its the cheapest unlimited wireless internet access around.
It uses the normal CDMA Garuda network and therefore has the same conenctivity limitations.

Similar facility are also offered by Reliance CDMA, TATA Indicom and Virgin. MTS is also supposed to be coming up with data facilities in the near future.

    Question Changing CDMA 1x netconnect

Sir i am using reliance cdma 1x netconnect post paid plan. modem is zte880+.

As you know TRAI has launched new rules that anybody can change his/her network
to any other network by just paying 19Rs and filling in an application form of target network.

So, i've a query, can i change the network of my netconnect card to mtnl? And subscribe the 299/- plan.

If so then what is the procedure and where to contact regarding this. Plz do tell b'cos reliance sucks in terms the billing. Reliance is too costly and speed sucks!
