    Question Need advice

    Hi,

I'll be traveling to India for a couple of months and I need a stable internet connection for my work. I plan to stay in Paharganj, New Delhi. I wanted to know if it is easy to buy a mobile broadband card as a tourist. Does it require a permanent address, as I won't have one?

There are some hotels which provide wifi internet but they're rather expensive and I've usually had bad experiences with their wifi connections.

If it is easy enough to buy the service, which company(s) is/are usually the better ones. I would prefer a stable connection over a fast/cheap connection.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    arahant7

Go with MTS Mblaze mobile internet. Cost of the device is Rs2000/- and it provides better speeds too or else airtel can be a better option

If you have a good mobile than just try Airtel. Plans are here:http://www.indiabroadband.net/airtel...net-plans.html (Airtel Mobile Internet Plans)

yes, they are talking about USB only not your mobile.

No, i think you have to give address or some proof before you can get the USB Cards.

second hand cards are available at some small shops in delhi,(but i am not sure how they give it, because usually things have to be surrendered to the company and not to shop)
Dont take idea or airtel, voda cards because these are stupid cards with edge network, that can never go beyond 10kbps..

try to take reliance net, or Tata photon.. or buy a micromax 3g modem of 2500/- you are open to use any network on it, and mtnl 3g will def. work on it..
Site from home gaya bhad mein... AIrtel se bolo FUP band kare.. BSNl se bolo 3G signal do!!!!>: (
