Thread: Aircel Internet without PC suite

Can i connect to aircel mobile broadband without using pc suite software on windows 7?
I tried by creating dial up connection and specify *77# in dial number , but no success.
The problem i facing is where to specify APN in that dial up connection.
Any help will greatly appreciated .

how do you connect to PC the phone ?

is the *77# correct?
which connecton is using *99#?
using pc suite is easy mate, you can enter apn.

click on CONNECT TO INTERNET --->CONFIGURE (a spanner like button below) --->SELECT MODEM---> THEN CLICK FORWARD ARROW KEY--> THEN tick on Configure connection manually --> then click next(forward arrow) ---> then give aircel apn as aircelgprs then click on ok or tick button. then try to connect.

Using Pc suite i am able to connect, i am using nokia 5130 via bluetooth. But what without Pc suite? I mention *77# as well but no sucess. Dialing on mobile appear and after that 'creating connection' which say 'no valid access point'

Use *99# or *99***1# to dial

Use the modem initialization code to specify access point.
e.g.
AT+CGDCONT=1, "IP","aircelgprs"
