Thread: Can I use Tata Photon Plus or Reliance Netconnect with a unlocked Data Card

I have one Vodafone Datacard K3570Z which is unlocked so I can use any SIM. Can I use Tata Photon Plus or Relieance Netconnect with this data card without using their own data card and opt for the prepaid plans offered by them? Any suggestions? Please help! Thanks in advance

This means you can use it for any other networks your area.
But you cannot use the bundled VMC software came with data card.

.remove voda sim and replace with other 3g sim
2.use '3 Mobile Broadband' or ZTE software instead of Voda's VMC.
3.you need to add apn settings manually for other networks.
4.Don't use Voda's VMC (It always shows other sim are invalid)

Using windows 7 is the easiest way to use vodafone k3570-z modem for other operators. just plug the modem and windows 7 will automatically install the modem. then just try to connect and it will prompt for APN. write it down.. that's it.. you will be connected

But many saying that I have GSM based data card so I can't use CDMA Photon or Netconnect

In that case, I am basically looking for GPRS/EDGE internet plan (GSM) for 7 or 15 days. Also I need to know which one will be best as per speed and network coverage. I am going to visit Haryana/ Punjab so can tell me specific to that region or in general
