Question Confused on what wireless service to buy

I really need suggestion on buying a Wireless Internet Device and plan.

I am presently at Bhubaneswar, but will be going to Hyderabad in October for Job training.
I presently have a 2Mbps Night Unlimited plan from BSNL at home. But now I need a wireless internet solution to be used with my laptop at Hyderabad.

The training is for 3 months, and after that I may or may not be posted there itself. So I cannot opt for a wired connection.

I just need atleast 512kbps speed, no extreme high speeds required. Just occasional Youtube video , few movies, and TV shows downloading.
Usage per month wont cross 10GB I suppose, but unlimited would be better. I cannot spend a lot for internet now at the beginning, so around 600 pm would be good.

So suggest me what should I get, as per my requirements. BSNL EVDO, or 3G Data Card, or TATA Photon Plus, or Reliance Netconnect. And what plan?
If 3G Data Card, then which ISP.
I will be staying in Nanakramguda, Serilingampally Mandal, R R District
HYDERABAD region, so which ISP has best tower strength there.

Also should I purchase the device now itself, or should I purchase it at Hyderabad? Will there be any roaming charges or anything if I purchase and activate the device from now itself?

I know I am asking a lot, but it would be a great help if anyone helped me out.

bsnl evdo is the only unlimited and cheapest wireless conn. and that also is 750pm u can not get any cheaper than that.. and that also is very unpredictable . u will need to check the speed first in that area and then only u can tell anything.

How can I check the speed of EVDO in the area? Any tools? Only after checking shall I buy the BSNL EVDO device.

yes better go to the place where u want to use it, then either take some friend's device or ask in bsnl exchange if they can provide a demo in ur place, then only go for it.
