Default How to port mblaze(mobile broadband) number to a gsm (voice) number?

I have a mblaze datacard and I want move out of it (you all can guess the reason - its speed is pathetic) & use its number for a new GSM connection of a diff service provider (like Airtel or BSNL or vodafone).

The Mblaze number is kind of easy to remember (with repetitive digits) and hence want to retain that number for a mobile phone.

Can we request for this number transfer through number portability?

OR worst case, can I move this number from MBlaze to a new MTS handset connection and ask them to reconfigure the MBlaze number for this new MTS handset??

CDMA to GSM porting- not really sure possible ?
But I have a pre paid no with Aircel in Tnadu for quite some time.
chuthias every 3 month ,they are asking to re submit ID papers. while submitting they are trying to sell extra services like internet and all kind of crap.Iam out of chennai for some time and now they have frozen that sim last week. On the other hand Iam happy with Reliance GSM for quite some time.Rs 0.5 for all (local/roaming/local sms/all india sms)
only problem is -CDMA no will not go in to my dual sim phone (work+family).I also have 3G android for internet/twiiter etc to carry.but this MTS idea worth exploring.

I think it may be feasible.
MTS voice calls are dirt cheap.Though you have to use what phones they give (unlike GSM),you can save a bundle if you talk a lot.

MTS Mobile BB does work in some places,I have freind who is happy with the speed @1 mbps @Rs 1000/10 GB though I have already kept my CDMA Tata photon data card (pre paid)in the freezer and using Airtel 3G/Voda 3G/Aircel 3G with 7.2 /3.6 data cards.
