Question wifi router 436R unable to connect to vodafone 3g network

    Hi all

I have started facing this problem since the last 2 weeks.
My wifi router 436R ( bought on ebay, unknown manufacturer, no support known ) is not able to connect to VODAFONE 3G network. I have the HUAWEI K3765 modem.
The router is a Linux build :
    -------------------
    Jan 1 00:00:21 (none) user.notice kernel: Linux version 2.6.21 (gcc version 3.4.2) #642 Wed Sep 15 12:08:53 CST 2010
    ------------------
The log shows that the router disconnects on IPCP config time out.
I have attached the router log to this post.

Can someone point me in the right direction pl.

    Thanks very much.

    Lightbulb Thanks for the wiki

Good to hear from another 436R user .
Have you encountered the IPCP Config timeout error ?
The WIKI is helpful, is it sufficient to upgrade drivers and install the Mobile Partner to get rid of the error.

Sorry. I am not an user of 436R. The new model number in the thread ,
interested me, to investigate. ( other models also available see link. )
Just trying to help members and users, with information, which they fail to access. using search engines like Google Yahoo Bing etc. Consider me as a Librarian, recommending the books you need!. Not necessary I should have read all of them, or an Expert in the subject..

Basic Idea is same . in a wifi network a trans/receiver at either end is required to send and receive Data. Some cellphone models may be incompatible with the service GSM/CDMA/freq /Operating system etc. Usually att the manufacturer's web site, upgrades are recommended.
