Question Cheapest 3G Data Packs !!!

I want to switch to 3G from my BSNL Broadband connection because in my area BSNL Broadband is becoming Head-Ache because of regular Wire-Break, Link-Failure, etc......Please suggest me a 3G Pack which will be sufficient for me.....I am from Bihar.
My Monthly Estimated Data Usage is about 10-15GB.

Do you have Bsnl EVDO signals in your area? 3.1mbps for Rs750 per month unlimited with no FUP. What more could you ask for when GSM providers are charging more then Rs100 per GB.

You can also go for Aircel as they provide cheap 3G data plans.
For Rs997 you get 10GB data for 30 days.

Its worth phoning up BSNL customer service and asking them is EVDO is available in your area. Sometimes you never get straight and correct answers from people in a office.

    Thats true Tubelight.

krnikverma if I was you I would give BSNL customer care a call and ask about the EVDO being available in your area, because thats the best option and it would be good if you could get it.

Airtel 3G is available in most places across India, it is a bit on the costlier side but is a connection which wont doesn't give an problems.

Have a look at the new BSNL 3G plans thread. So far these are the cheapest 3G plans available.

The new BSNL 3G plans are cheap but MTNL is cheaper than BSNL but unfortunately only available in Delhi and Mumbai.

MTNL 3G may be cheap but the connection is not perfect. When I stayed in Delhi with family, we used a MTNL connection and there were a lot of times when the connection didnt work for days. But BSNL works quite well without any disconnections.

Another service provider on the block is T24 just seen the thread on the forum. The tariff is neither too high as Airtel or low as BSNL or MTNL.

Actually T24 works out to be expensive as compared to MTNL and BSNL, but yes it is cheaper than Airtel 3G.

I would not recommend the MTNL 6 months plan as with MTNL you can not guarantee what the performance would be like throughout the whole 6 months. I had a MTNL connection a year ago and went for the 6 months plab s and there was a whole month when the connection would not work at all.

You would find many service providers who would go through problems of not working once in a while, no service provider is perfect although we wish it was.

Although Reliance net connect is not the cheapest of 3G service providers but it has no connection issues. I have had the connection for well over a year no and had no disconnections.

if using a CDMA handset is not a problem, then the cheapest as on date (upto 5 GB mthly use) is definitely Reliance CDMA

Reliance CDMA has one of the best coverage nationwide contrary to popular perception. Reliance CDMA data charges are also one of the lowest in the country. Unlike GSM the 1x speed is 144kbps which I find ok for general browsing and sending and receiving emails where as on 2G with GSM I find it hard to even open Google home page some times.
