Default Switching to BSNL 3G to Airtel 3G

I am thinking of switching to BSNL 3G from Airtel 3G and the reason is the expensive tariff charges for calls and data. BSNL has some very good plans which are affordable, but I dont know whether just because of the costs it is a good idea to switch to BSNL.
I need some advise from BSNL users whether it is a wise decision to switch from Airtel 3G.

You are right in your own way that the tariffs are lower than Airtel which is a good enough reason to switch, but what you need to first find out is what the BSNL coverage is like in your area. In some places users get great coverage and in some the coverage is appauling. I think you should ask people who live near by you whether they use BSNL and what the service is like.

Instead of losing your Airtel 3g and getting bsnl 3g you should get bsnl sim card and try the smallest 3g pack to check the speed and network coverage at places you would use it. If bsnl 3g trial goes well then get the pack you want and get rid of Airtel 3g.

Not a good idea. BSNL and MTNL are service providers which are known for the unreliable services. If you really want a BSNL connection then I suggest you use a sim card on tethering or in a dongle, see how that goes then decide.

Do you know what the BSNL coverage is like in your area? Are you thinking of getting a wired connection or a EVDO connection?

As per my experience with BSNL and Airtel both are best. I vll suggest you to go with BSNL for 3g.
