Default Choosing Your Mobile Service Provider

India has come a long way in the path of mobile phone services. At one time the mobile phone subscribers had to pay even for the incoming calls. The costs were as high as Rs. 6 per minute for the calls received. To those who have not kept track of the history of mobile phone services in India, this can come as a surprise. We are in the same India today that charges as low as 10ps per minute for outgoing calls. There are number of mobile service providers India including BSNL mobile, Airtel mobile, Tata mobile, Aircel mobile, Reliance mobile, Vodafone mobile, Virgin mobile, etc. The presence of a number of mobile providers has created a highly competitive environment leading to the reduction of prices in the mobile tariffs. Now we are eagerly waiting for the mobile broadband network in India.

Since there are so many mobile service providers in India, how to select the best service provider? Here are few factors that you need to take into consideration.

First of all, you should take into consideration the mobile space coverage that you get from the service provider. We have come a long way from the landline connections to mobile phones so that we can be reached even when we are on the move. So before you select your mobile service provider, you must know the service coverage of the mobile provider. There is no use having a mobile plan that often tells your callers that you are out of the service range. Amongst all the mobile service providers, BSNL and Airtel provide the most extensive coverage for their customers and both of them are continuing to increase their coverage area. You will be able to receive BSNL and Airtel signal in your mobile phone even when you are in some of the remotest villages. So select a serviced provider who gives extensive coverage. However, if you think that you are not a that kind of person who travels that often but your movement is very limited to the cities, then service coverage will not be your major area of concern.

The second factor is the cost. This is one of the major factors people use to decide the service provider. When you are reviewing the tariffs, select the service provider with the most straightforward tariffs. Some of the plans will look very cheap but they will have very low talk value or other value added services such as SMS. So see that you are getting the maximum talk time out of any package you subscribe. Always check the pulse rate for various types of calls. If you make a lot of outstation or international calls then you must choose a package that offers international minutes at a lesser price. Therefore do not look at the cost without taking into consideration your specific usage pattern. Only when you match your usage pattern with the tariff, you will be able to get the best mobile deal. Do take your time to review the tariffs, your specific usage pattern and the coverage before choosing your mobile service provider.

good post admin,

i like to inform you all that, tata indicom is also best in terms of coverage and service quality. so consider that too.
the only drawback in tataindicom is that, you need a CDMA phone.
