BSNL is set to construct 19,000 towers in rural areas through out india.

it will be done in two phases.

the first phase will be erecting 8,000 towers in villages.
the next phase will have 11,000.

As the every citizens of india has to experience the power of technology, these steps to connect the villages of india to metros will step up not only the economy but the spirit of every farmers to stay in their own land for the countries development.

prasannaganesh is it for whole india or for a specific region or state only, 19000 new towers sounds good and can bring a great change

I thought they had covered pretty much the whole of India than any service provider, including villages and National Highways.

Nah currently its not good in villages and all , it cities its bearable but even in outskirts of cities u may have to struggle to get tower
