I've been with BPL only from the beginning so I'm not too sure about the rest. From what I've heard, MTNL & Airtel network is not the strongest in Mumbai.
Vodafone network is the best here.
Cost wise, on any network, prepaird services are quite cheap & have almost same fares.

what is offnet and onnet???![]()
Onnet - calls terminating within the network of the same service provider (e.g. Rel CDMA to Rel CDMA or MTNL to MTNL)
Offnet - calls terminating outside the network of the same service provider (e.g. Rel CDMA to MTNL or MTNL to Airtel)
Will Reliance CDMA to Reliance GSM within the same state considered as onnet or offnet?
