Two of India's most popular mobile service providers Bharti Airtel and Reliance Communications will be soon launching online mobile application stores. This means new means for revenue.

According to Bharti Airtel they will be providing more than 1250 different applications which will be covered over 25 different categories. Some of the categories listed will be games, social networking, books and many other applications.
The applications from Reliance Communications would go live for its customers who have GSM services and this will be launched by the end of February, and by the end of March all customers of Reliance Communication mobile will get the application services.

As we all know the application by Apple are highly popular and in India Aircel was the first Indian mobile company to launch amobile applications store.
