Default Airtel payed back Rs. 45 within 48 hrs. of complaining at CORE

I think this is something I must share to every body because its not only my problem almost everyone suffers from this.
    Here is the story..
One day Airtel charged 40 rupees from my account without any kind of service or anything then i asked the customer care for this, and they said I have downloaded something so I'm charged. That was the end of the first half.

Then I started DND and after a few days Airtel charged 5 rupees from my account again. That was the beginning of the second half. I simply filled a complain at the CORE Center for this problem on 30th November 2010.

With 24 hours I received a call from Airtel Delhi office regarding this problem and then they were so understanding and helpful (piche danda jo laga tha) that they agreed to pay back all 45 rupees with in next 24 hours.

This morning I received 45 rupees back on my account and really big thank to CORE center.

Spread this awareness to everyone and use CORE center for any kind of consumer complains. see solved problems at CORE center to find out my story. my complain ID is 20594/4/2010 see there. titled Balance deducted forcefully without any service

I cant post links here because of forum rules, just search on google for core center.

    I said once
    Sir/Madam
My Airtel mobile number is 09002545998. This number is in service for about a month. A few days after I bought this sim card, on 18th November 2010 Airtel charged me 40 Rupees for nothing. When I called their customer care executive, they said - I have downloaded something from Indiagames community, that's why I am charged that money. At that moment there was 2GB monthly internet package was active on my number and the limit or validity was not over at that time. So how they can charge that from me? Again they said that they charged for the activation of the service, and after that I got a service SMS saying that "Your 5 days trial for Tadka Alive is now active.... and you will be charged 20 rupees/day after the trial period." Then I called them again and asked to stop the service immediately. But they said there is no service active on my Number. That means they charged me for nothing at all. I had tried to send sms to 121 for stop any active service but the result was same. They said I have no service active on my number. And more than even if I’ve activated (I didn’t though) that service how any third party website can charge money from my main account balance?
After that yesterday morning Airtel debited 5 rupees from my account again. When I called the customer care I was not able to talk with them because they never picked up my phone. So I called from another number and they said that some service is active on my phone, that’s why 5 rupees has been debited from my account. Again that was a false service forcefully activated by them. And there was no service active on my number. And even I didn’t get any kind of confirmation message of activating that service, neither before nor after.
More than that I can’t call to their toll free complain center (198) and if I call to their paid help line they drop my call within a few minutes without solving my problems.
Sir/Madam please help me and take any possible steps. I am ready for any kind of investigations for this problem.
    Thank you
    Rabin
