I have taken a new Idea prepaid SIM on 6th March 2011 in pune. I m not local resident of pune so i was not having local address proof. But then one of Idea SIM dealer says that there is an option that if you dont have the local address proof then you just need to provide the address and contact number of any local resident to whom you know. and i found that there was a column in the form regarding this clause. SO i have given the Contact Name/Address and Number of the person. Apart from this i have given My PAN Card copy, Election Card copy.
NOW this sim became my headache. they have deactivated the sim on 13th March 2011 by saying that your documents are not complete. When i contact the dealer he is saying that your documents are complete. there is no need to give any document. I was not even able to contact with customer care as my SIM is deactivated. That dealer says that your SIM would be activated in next 8 hours. I am daily going to him and he used to say same thing but nothing happens till date.
After that somehow i arranged another sim then even customer care , nodal officer is saying that your document is incompleted. I m saying then if you need local address proof in any case then why th hell is that clause in your form ? By using that clause dealer used to make us fool. Nodal officer is saying repeatedly that i dont know whatever is your case, i just know this thing that you need to submit the local address proof, identity proof and photo. these sucking customer care & nodal officers?
Can anybody tell me that where i can lodge a greivance against it? or is there any other way in which i can file the complaint? is there any organisation which take care of this type of cases?
