Thread: Using Prepaid SIM abroad?

I want to use my Prepaid SIM abroad for just a few calls and a few SMS to India.
Do I need to activate some service or anything for this?

Take my advise and do not use your Indian sim card anywhere in the world especially in western Europe. Get a local sim card and use that for calls within the country yo are going to and buy a calling card or use skype to make calls to India if you dont want to buy a calling card.

It is just too expensive to use an Indian sim card abroad and I would never advise anyone to use one abroad. Buy a local one instead. You can also try getting in touch with a company called Matrix that sells international sim cards in India.

you need a local sim anyways to do any kind of cheaper communication..
