Post Suggest me a prepaid connection.

Hello all. I have a Vodafone connection in Delhi. But, i am really pissed off from their service. A few days ago, I subscribe their Rs. 4 internet. And then after deducting 4, still they deduct balance on 10p/10kb basis. And now, no one is taking responsibility. Now, I want to change my service provider. I have shortlisted Reliance and Aircel. My requirements are: 1. Lot of STD calls. 2. Mobile Internet. I have both at other end, i.e. I can take advantage of same network tariffs. Please suggest me which service should I go for. Also, tell me the procedure for MNP. Will I need to surrender my vode SIm, and will receive new sim, or what???? Thank you.

Either go for Airtel, MTNL or Reliance. As you want a calling package as well Reliance would be the best as they have this Reliance One plan which gives calls, sms and data.

I would suggest Reliance, not only does it provide good coverage but also have good calling and internet rates.

Go for the Reliance One India plan, very good for those who make calls, send SMS and use data. Have a look at the Reliance One India Plans thread for more information.

Based from my own experience I will suggest Reliance because their Wi-pod service have a speed of 14 MB per seconds. That is not bad for a mobile internet connection.

The wi-pod service you are referring to is CDMA EVDO based and in most locations, the higher speed is under Network Sharing agreement with MTS.
CDMA requires specialised handsets and will not work with regular handsets.
