Rep Power: 12 | The T-Mobile MDA Basic is a mid range handset but has some features which will owe the moment you browse the inner specs of the phone. The phone launched a really lovely phone this time which would be quite useful to all users. Though this is not a 3G smart phone but the features of the phone leaving 3G are quite impressive. T-Mobile MDA Basic is a quad band phone which runs well in GSM network of GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900. The phone announced in January 2009, is equipped with a large touchscreen display which measures 2.8 inches. Just imagine the space you have on the screen to put your finger or stylus to command the phone. Such a large screen with resolution like 240 X 320 pixels also make watching of videos quite comfortable under bright light too. The T-Mobile MDA Basic is a lightweight phone weighing just 110 g. The phone is also equipped with some other features which mobile users these days want them in their phones like TouchFLO finger swipe navigation, 5 way navigation and handwriting recognition. Though this is a mid range phone you have practically unlimited entry to phone books and option of photocall. T-Mobile MDA Basic is a 2G Windows Mobile phone that runs on the platform Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. The internal processing and brain of the phone is made of 128MB RAM, 256MB ROM, TI OMAP 850, 201 MHz processor, and will wonder you with features like Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, GPRS, and EDGE. T-Mobile MDA Basic also sports card slot to extend memory, Bluetooth, USB, Email, Instant Messaging, WAP browser, Pocket Office, 2 MP camera with video features, high end games and MP3/AAC/MPEG4 player. Such features are really mind blowing when you have a look at the listed price of the phone. Investing in such phone is much better than wasting so much money in some phone which are nothing but a brand name like the recent designer phone called Samsung M7500 Emporio Armani! |

| good phone ... but the specs are not so attractive - also the user ratings on some sites is very disheartening ... no 3G , no HSCSD, only 65K colors ... not so good ... lets see what experts all around say when this phone releases ... |
