The much affordable 830i is equipped with some wonderful features. This is ironically 3G smart phone and supports UMTS network of 900/1200 and the tri-band phone supports 2G network of GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900.

Measuring just 103 x 51.5 x 13.3 mm the phone weighs 71g. You have an amazing lightweight phone which has a TFT screen of 1.8 inches having color combination of 256K colors. The phone Vodafone 830i though cannot provide you space for unlimited entries of phone book, but you can have 1000 entries to it and have a record of 20 missed, dialed and received calls.

The internal memory of the phone is 10 MB with card slot to extend memory up to 4GB without any difficulty. To users delight there is a 2GB card included in the package of the phone. Vodafone 830i supports GPRS, EDGE and 3G HSDPA speed for high speed web access upload and download. The Bluetooth v1.2 with A2DP is perfect for file transfer from one device to other and the USB connectivity to devices like printers, computers and others.

The multimedia of Vodafone 830i includes camera features like 3.15 Mp camera, auto focus, video recording, MPEG4 player and Mp3 player, JAVA MIDP for high end games, built in hands free and organizer. The standard Li-ion battery of the phone can give you a talk time of 4 hours.

The little wonder is perfect for budget oriented people where you get – 3G, good pixel camera, media player and one click upload and sharing of pictures with friends and family.

very much a budget phone ... but these brands dont at all get good respond in india - people dont at all want to experiment these days ... nokia and sony erricsson are ruling

also some of the features of this phone are not up to the mark :

the battery standby time is upto 250 hrs and talk-time only 3hrs

no support for wlan ... but anyways a good bet for budget phone users ...
