Thread: how to disable mobile tracker?

Hi! here's one peculiar case.
my relative had a LG mobile phone(some base model).it had a mobile theft tracker.he gave 2 numbers for it -one mine and another some of my relative's.
Then after somedays he exchanged the mobile in a mobile store for a new mobile.The storewallah sold the mobile to someother lady.Then the problem began.When she put the new SIM card it started sending me and the other number the message "The phone with IMEI n0 XXXXXXX has been stolen and using this number".Now daily it sends 3 messages from that phone.The lady has changed 3 SIM cards but each time she changes it agin starts sending the new number.Is there anyway she can disable it?coz it's causing a lot of nuisance getting the message daily..

Yes you can disable it for sure... just post here the model number of that handset so will give you exact procedure of disabling it..!

for now here is a rough procedure to disable it

goto menu, setup/options
then securities
then give the phone lock code if asked
then goto mobile tracker and off/disable it

I am hoping that anyone can help me. I've a Samsung sgh-c450 mobile and i have activated mobile tracker 2 years before and i forgot the code now. Is there any way i can reset the code?

how can i turn off the mobile tracker for samsung omnia, i purchased samsung omnia i8000 and it has password that is already set for mobile tracker..., and i cant guess any.

I am new to this site and am registered today. I want to know how to switch off a mobile tracker on a Samsung Champ C3300K as it asks me to enter a password which I am afraid I forgot. Mine is a without camera version of the champ and am using the Vodafone service provider

sorry nothing could be done, as this is too risky....

go to the official samsung dealership and they will unlock for you. Now dont say you dont have the necessary bills and warranty card.
