About 70 million U.S. people use AT & T mobile handsets. At San Francisco AT & T Inc announced that soon on their handsets the feature of Yahoo Inc Search will be available. It plans to offer via its mobile internet portal, the web services of yahoo search on mobile which will include links to weather, financial information and news and web search. This service is a part of the partnership that Yahoo and AT & T had in January’08. Yahoo will be giving the search and advertising services to the internet TV, mobile phone clients, and broadband computers of AT & T. the local search information will be provided by AT & T’s YellowPages.com to its customers. Yahoo has partnerships with almost 60 carriers worldwide where-in it offers approximately 800 million subscribers OneSearch services on their cell phones.

whats so special about this?

I think its special because people who uses AT & T mobile phone will automatically have the free use of Yahoo. An internet in their mobile phone. Now not all mobile phone company gives that kind of feature. Some does but with a required payment. Wow. Yahoo is really good at advertising. Now with this offer, their company would surely grow larger again.
