Thread: easily send flash message in a non compatible handsets.

To send a flash SMS, compose a SMS with these contents:

Flash [recipient number] [message]

and sent it to 58243.
The recipient will receive the flash SMS on his screen.

do tell about the costs also.. i think this is a yahoo service and costs 3/- on all major providers... isnt it??

dude the mobile operators charge the sender the cost of normal sms..there is no additional charge for sending flash sms...

58243 is not normal sms dude..

DUDE actually it worked on vodafone for me so yes its 100% working ...

i thnk i was charged 3/- its as a sim service in many idea sim cards, and 58243 i think is yahoo number... so it must be premimum service..

bro that i dont know bcoz i m not using airtel but for some of my frnds it worked so if u want u can try .

I tried using this in Airtel. I sent the message to myself,but I did not receive any flash message. And by the way, I was charged Rs. 3/-.
