Thread: Mobile phones and front camera

Today many mobile phones are equipped with a camera but there are phones which are not equipped with one but two cameras two . The front camera and the back camera.

The primary use of the front camera is to make video calls but people rarely use this feature making front camera one of the least used features of a mobile phone. The video calls function works only if the operator supports it and the other person has the front camera too. Here are ways I think the front camera can be used

- Use your front camera as a mirror, fix your hair or make up (but you get a reverse pic )
- Video blogging
- Use it as a PC web cam (you need install additional software for this)
Are there more ways to use the front camera ?

I have a MTNL 3G connection. So for me, its video calls only

i have never made video calls !!

video call is extremely popular my place... those who have 3G connection are buying 3g sets.. and using this amazing feature..

I have not tried video calling yet but will try soon.
