Default Windows Phone 7 is not free

Well, there are no surprises this time. Unlike Android, Microsoft won’t be giving away its operating system Windows Phone 7. Knowing Microsoft and its policies, it would be foolish to assume so. Microsoft will charge the carriers for Windows Phone 7 confirmed an insider at Mobile world congress. Apple and Research In Motion do not license their operating system to other carriers. Experts think that this move to retain the old licensing system by software gaint is foolish. You need a free operating system to fight a free operating system, claimed an analyst. Microsoft Chief Executive Officer Steve Ballmer said that it would stick to its current business model. It will let the mobile manufacturers use its OS in exchange of a fee. It could charge somewhere between $5 to $ 20.
