Mobile phones are everywhere, many colours, designs, features and specialties. Mobile phones available today are very different from the ones which were available about 10 years ago .

Today the mobile phone market has undergone a sea change. Some years back mobile phones were meant to make calls while on the move, even texting was something people dint do regularly ( it wasn’t cheap then) now mobile phones double up as pocket PCs and a cell phone without camera is considered tacky and outdated.

Here are some rampant mobile phones trends in india:

3G: 3G is an amazing new concept not very popular in india since most operators don’t support it. The idea of seeing the person you are talking to is something amazing future mobile phoines will have a lot to do with 3G technology and now even 4G is coming up.

Social networking: Networking is the trend among youth and almost every phone comes equipped with social media capabilities allowing easier access to social media sites.

Apps : The concept started by apple is now being adopted by all telecoms providers. Apps store is common feature with Vodafone, airtel and reliance introducing their own app stores.

Dual sim cards: With MNP still not available in India dual sim card phones are in rage. Not so wel;l known brands are churning our dual sim phones.

Bluetooth: Wireless connectivity is becoming an essential feature for file transfers and ever head sets. Most mobile phones come with Bluetooth .

Multimedia content: Mobile phones double up as mp3 players so most most come equipped with audio and video player. Even FM radio is now supported in most phones

Battery life: Indian mobile manufacturers are paying special attention to battery life of mobile phones, as multimedia content usage consume more battery . Infact we may even see solar charged mobiles crop up soon


QWERTY keypad: With internet being accessed on mobiles phones, for user convenience qwerty keypads are coming up for faster and easier texting, mailing, and networking.

Mobile phones also have high competition for the type operating system used. Touch screen technology is also very popular these days. Mobile phones is one sector which promises to keep growing and innovating with many lesser known brands like karbonn, lava, micromax and intex making their presence felt

ya,there will be more and more kinds of phones in India,especially the 3G phone,it's the most popular.

This is an evdo mobile and will not cost as much as you think..

it is written that the phone will be available under 6k and also has many interesting features..

Its basically a clone of their HSDPA model H360 minus the secondary camera.

The main problem is getting EVDO activated from the back end.
