Thread: HTC HD Mini launched in India (Windows Mobile 6.5.3)

Most of you might know the almight HTC HD2, then you should know about HTC HD Mini the mini version of HD2.

And the display quality of this new phone is said to be more clear and vivid than iPhone and HD2. And the best thing is its powered by Windows Mobile 6.5.3.

For those who dont know about Windows Mobile 6.5.3 let me tell you its a new version with many enhancement and features. And if you see it you will clearly get to know that it has been made much more finger friendlier than Windows Mobile 6.5.

Some of the new things that this new WM version are, Start button is now moved to down, and the upper notification bar has been made thinner. Apart from that there is a new Internet explorer, now if you open a website internet explorer automatically adapts it to ur screen, and every part of the website is zoomed differentially. And now you can change the location of icon in start menu to anywhere earlier in wm 6.5 u could just get icons to top or bottom. Which takes so much time to get arranged according to ur wish or it never gives u satisfactory result.

But one thing to be noted is HTC removed start button totally from the phone to give it a more cleaner look. Now you may wonder how to access start menu. Well, you can access by pressing hardware start button. Also if you still want start menu back you can get it back by some editings.

It has also Sense UI, yes the same famous and revolutionary UI used on HTC HD2 but it doesnt have all the animation yet it is much much similar.

One great disadvantage of this device is, it has HVGA Screen resolution. That means one can't use many applications because this is a very new resolution ever introduced so none of the applications have been made for this resolution so some application may look weird :P
