Thread: When are free phones coming to India?

When are the cell phone companies going to start giving free phones in India as they are doing in USA? In USA, many people just signup for the service and they get a free basic phone. If you need a very fancy one then you have to pay for it.

Do not worry and waiit for some time. I am sure that we would see this offer from our cellphones companies very soon. Just let the competition get a little bit more though between them and then we would see a lot fo good offers.

I dont think that we would see free phones in India any sooner. I think we would have to wait for a long time may be 5-6 years before we would see any such thing as you know we are much back as compared to United States and other top European countires.
