Well, I am very interested in this device, but it need to come with a competitive price, because people still have a strong bias with Windows Phone because of the low amount of Apps. But with the system, it is quite powerful, what draws my attention is the camera technology. I'm looking forward for review.

Yes, I think it got a nice camera with 20MP. As you said it would be better to wait and watch before buying. May be a better phone at cheap price is available by that time. Moreover, if we are patient to wait for a few months we will be able to get it at a great discount. I am sure as soon as Windows 10 phone is launched, another model to compete with it will be introduced in the market. It will drastically reduce the price of Windows 10 phone for sure. That is what is actually happening now. May be we can see a phone with a better camera at a low price even.

Yes, one of the main drawbacks of Windows phone is low number of applications when compared to Android and iOS phones. Hope Windows 10 can address this issue.

I hope so too, really hoping the quality of the phone is superb and there are more apps, to be accessed from it's store. Microsoft hasn't really proved themselves when it comes to the apps they offer in the phone store. This time around if they haven't bettered the issues of low apps, they may lose a lot of good customers in our modern world of today, for example my sister who was a happy Lumia user, till the low applications became a problem.

This seems like a promising device, however the price is quite high. My gaming PC cost me 500, and I don't think I can afford a device this expensive this hear unfortunately. I may save up and get it next year, when the price drops a little bit, or buy it on contract.

The device itself looks very good, and the 20MP camera sounds amazing, windows phones always had a good history of having high quality cameras. Thus device could a breakthrough in windows phones, putting them into the same competition as Samsung and apple.

This would be exciting as I planning to buy a Windows phone I am a fan of Windows gadgets because it is easy to use and not that laggy. I am using Windows tablet and I haven't had issues like I had in Android. The price is also reasonable.

Well, do not pre-order the phone and wait till a couple of months have passed after it comes out, or you will have some issues with the phone, when a phone is first launch, there is a high number of updates to fix bugs and errors they might have missed, and this tends to annoy some users, for example me.

It will certainly be interesting to see just how popular these devices are going to be. While Windows phones are nowhere near as popular as iOS or android devices they do have a loyal fan base.

It's fair to say that the Windows 10 OS as received a mix response up to now, so will the release of Windows 10 on the mobile platform be any different?

Did you read the review in the GSMARENA website? The Camera had excellent result on the review, but the Battery had a bad result. It lost for phones like the Xperia Z and Samsung Galaxy Grand I9082. Some websites believe it is because Windows 10 that is not the final version.

I think it might be a turning point for Microsoft as a whole. They can do well if they come out successful in branding Windows 10 as a mobile OS. They can do a lot of innovative works by synchronizing it with PCs. As you already know most of the PCs run on Windows, even sky is not the limit for them. Android is only popular as a mobile OS and windows being a dominant player in computer OS it can do well. But it all depends on their branding, usability, innovative features and durability.

Hope we can see good user friendly features in Windows 10 handsets. May be they will also add more innovative apps in their basket.

I surely will. I always check reviews before buying. A device's downside cannot be easily discovered in a short span of use. Thanks for your suggestion.

When it comes to smartphones in particular, there are a lot of sites these days that give independent reviews and while there are a lot of fake reviews around, there are a lot of independent sites that CAN be relied upon to give impartial advice on what is best to buy.

I agree with you on this point. We cannot rely on Internet blindly. Even reviews are being influenced by big corporates. You can see a lot of complaints from customers who receive inferior quality goods from online shopping sites even when the seller is well-known with good (fake) reviews. Nowadays it is not difficult to influence a site for giving good reviews about a product. They are also running the site for money and they will be happy to do that for some incentives.

I think what @Challengewriter pointed out is very relevant. We need to wait for some time to get a real feel of the new product.
