Default It has been 2 years and I still heard any news about the transparent mobile phone

I saw this video 2 years ago and I was really hyped when I saw this because it really looks cool. I am so buying this once it is launched but sadly this product in development have no news for 2 years. I wonder how many years of waiting would it be before we can finally have our very own transparent phones and tablets. Yup there is also a transparent tablet in development but sadly there is no new updates about its development.

2 years ago, a bendable phone is also teased but there is also no new news about it.

Please edit the title into this:

I was talking about this with my friends the other day, as even in a music video an artist was promoting the phone. But I heard made few select people are using it (the super rich) or the phone is still in development. I am also anticipating the release of a transparent phone, as it would be beyond wonderful to have one. Yet again the cost of the phone would be off the charts.

I saw the bendable phone in theoretical photo in the newspaper today. I like this idea because I need a high amount of RAM and a big screen, combined to a small phone in the pocket. As for the transparent phone, it could be hard to use it because of the contrast with the real world background. I just saw an ad on eBay for a transparent phone, but not like your video. It's like a 2G with a transparent screen on top.

There was a news update on transparent phone (unfortunately I don't have the link). Samsung has dropped that idea for the time-being as more research is required to make it really operational. But they did not drop the idea, still working on that. Hope it will be a reality soon. I am anxiously waiting for that, it looks so cool. But I don't think I can own it as it will be too pricey.

I haven't heard of a bendable phone though. It is a a really innovative idea. Hope this will also come true in near future along with transparent phones. I think this is a good side effect of perfect competition in the market. Let's hope for the best.

The transparent phone does exist. It is just not that common with the iPhone and Samsung on the market. I really hope they make it available to the public soon. And hope they bring it to our country.

I get that they are even trying to make transparent laptops and tablets. I hope they are made of gorilla glass. I am too clumsy to handle real glass. Or better yet they can make the holographic phone a reality. I would love that.

I will be the first in line once it is available because it does really look cool. I wonder how many years of development should we wait for before we can finally have them. I really thought they will be out by 2015 but sadly they seemed to be struggling to make it affordable. Oh this is a footage of the flexible smart phone:

I would really love to buy one if my budget allows me. But I think a foldable phone is much more needed than a transparent version. If you can really fold your smartphone with a wider screen to a smaller size, it could be more portable and easy to carry. You can have bigger screen in your palm top. I think the worst affected would be the tablet and laptop business if this will become a success and its true potential is unlocked. But I think laptops and tablets will also go in to foldable modes in future.

Have you seen the image of foldable phones on net? It is just cool like a fodable diary. Hope it is durable too.

I wonder how thin or thick the first released model would be. I had been waiting for this thing to be released in the market. I hope I wont be waiting for another 5 years. By far non of the new model of phones looks like this prototype. I wonder why it takes them so long before they can release this gadget.

I have see a couple of thing of that pone, The telephony service provider Phone Brazil Presents "The Glass", a smartphone made entirely of glass, so its appearance is completely transparent. The CEO of the company, Anderson Dias, told the product concept is "revolutionary" and that the company expects high demand by users.

The prototype will be presented at a meeting in the art gallery of New York the week of June 14. It will be a space to check and see different marketing possibilities and learn the benefits of having a full glass screen. I really want it now.

There is a new prototype getting teased:

It is looking better than ever, I don't know how long is the wait before the first working mass produced transparent phone will be available for sale. What company will release this first? The race is on!

That is really unimaginable, a mobile made of glass! It would be amazing to see the phone in reality and there is no doubt that there will be a high demand for the model in the market. By being transparent I think we will be able to see the inner parts of the mobile and see through it, right? It also paves the way for water proof phones I think.

But I am little worried about the durability of a glass phone. May be it is highly toughened glass which can withstand any kind of shock. But there is a limit for a material like glass to absorb shock. I am very much excited to see the device in action, but I think it will be too costly at least when it is launched.

Maybe it is not really glass, it could be plastic or fiber glass. Fiber glass is really a durable material that is not really that easy to destroy. I saw a Piranha tank made of Fiber glass before and those sharped toothed fishes can't destroy it.
