Question An android smartphone for international travel ?

I retired this month after 40 years. I shall be traveling for six months starting with Israel/Jordan/Egypt then Europe/UK and finally Canda/US/Mexico. I would like to have a phone that is capable of handling 4g whereever possible.

This is what I know: a 2G quad band (850,900,1800,1900) is necessary to cover most countries for voicecalls. After that I am pretty lost. I have been told to buy a dual SIM 4G/LTE phone. I spent hours on flipkart, amazon and I am still confused.

I am sure many of you are expert travelers who go to many countries mentioned above. Your help and suggestions are very important to me.

    Thanks

According to details on snapdeal it has

    Connectivity
    3G/WCDMA1900/2100MHz
    4G/LTE2100(B1), 1800(B3), 900(B8), 700(B28) MHz. 1, 3, 8, 28
What I am looking for is something closer to 2,3,4,7,40 bands, and ideally I'd like 2,3,4, 7, 8, 12,17,20,40 LTE bands to cover, US/Canada/Mexico Uk/Ireland/France and Singapore/Thailand are where I plan to go.

its the only phone that covers most GSM and CDMA bands that will be required for voice call. It also supports 3G data on GSM and CDMA. If you are mainly looking for 4G data and not interested in voice call, then it is not the right one, look for the lyf series from Relaince Jio - only phone that supports Band 5 and 40. If you dont need band 5 support, then moto G 3rd gen can be also an option.
