Today, in order to deal with such situations quickly and easily, most of the cell phones provide the service of `emergency call` to the users. For example in many cases where people were stuck in a circumstance like earthquakes or landslides, they have managed a way out with the help of their mobile phones.

In the very near past, cell phones used to be considered as a luxury item, but now it has changed entirely to become a very much a necessity for all. I have tried once being off of a cell phone for a day voluntarily and found it very difficult to handle it and felt as if i had lost some important part of my body!! Mobile phones are indeed the greatest invention of this decade or may be last decade.
