Well, those ads were aired since months, But I love them nonetheless, I think virgin won't work a lot because, Their tariffs rate are real bad.

Its basically the tata indicom network; WHICH I HATE furthermore the handsets are from haeir; again the company which does not believe in finishing touches and build quality.

OVERALL, a recipe for disaster.

The ads which i have seen are generally targeted at the younger generation, so it is a possibility that the collage or university students will opt for. I don't know much about the call rates, but form what i heard from the ad is that you get money for incoming calls, to which extent this is true i don't know?

As of now they suck in India ....Only if they r widely adopted will they be able to put some money into building some infrastructure for themselves....which currently they dont have

I dont think they have much hope....Abroad they r one of the best , but in India they def struggle as big companies like Vodafone have already made a huge presence here by buying out Hutch....

the primary disadvantage is that they are CDMA phones....I don think they will work in India......People get bored of a single connection

these ad's are trying to catch collage and school kids coz this is the age group which keeps on changing phone numbers very frequently but the other age groups like 26 and above they dont change number so easily know
as i am using vodafone from last about 8 years and its hard for other providers to hit migrate such customers
