    Default NDIS , RAS mode

Can any technical person explain the difference between the two and how to toggle in between them. I do not see anything to this effect in Quidway Huawei modem. Is it effected in the adapter end? Thanks

NDIS is an upgraded protocol suite which recognizes the USB device as a network adapter whereas RAS detects it as a modem. Thus NDIS is believed to be more efficient but depending on the firmware either modes may work on your system.
