    Default Motorola Phones

One of my previous phones was a Motorola V3, and i have to say it was an excellent phone, with very good features. The phone battery life was very good, considering how sleek it was and the camera quality was excellent too.

I think after Nokia phones, Motorola phones come second or even maybe side by side with Nokia, because they are reliable and long lasting.

I have used a Moto Krzr K1m. it was great for about one year. sometime after the warranty expired, so did the phone's display.

Motorola service center in Dadar, Mumbai did repair it by replacing the strip cable. but f***ed up the hinge. then they said that there would be separate charge for repairing the hinge, which was perfect before.

12000 for the phone when purchased.
    700 for strip cable change,
additional expected 700 to fix hinge,

and the repairing people left scratches on the body panels.

No wonder Motorola is a sinking ship. good phones are really ruined by Shitty, Shoddy, poor, exasperating, unrealistically expensive customer service.

I am now considering going in for a Nokia 5800 or a SE Xperia X1.

But I've heard the overall quality of Motorola phones are better than Nokia(in India). Is that true ?

look at it my way, no company with a good brand name, makes low quality product.

the initial quality is top notch from all manufacturers. be it Nokia, SE, or Moto. it is the after sales service that determines the actual user experience. we have nokia fans, SE fans, and moto fans who will swear by the brand they live with. this is not easy. and nokia and SE command higher used phone prices. this only tells us that these phones can withstand abuse far longer than any other.

till you make a purchase, you are not interacting with the company. you are interacting with the dealers, resellers, etc.
it is after a problem has been found, that your interaction with a company starts. it is the service centers that actually define your customer experience.

Dear you are cursing moto today bcz you Moto Krzr K1m gave up after a year and you are planning to switch over to Nokia 5800 or a SE Xperia X1 what if this too give up after sometime you will do the same with nokia n SE what you are doing with moto at the moment right.

These are electronic gadgets you really cant just say how long it will work or it should work, it may even give up even in a days time or it may be their for years, it really depends upon your LUCK TOOOOO

Every reputed brand has 99.999% QA & QC, but that don't guaranty after sale services.....

you can find many unlucky like you out their with NOKIA or SE problems n complaints :001_tt2:

Next time PRAY TO GOD and  with your new CELL.

Actually Moto phones are totally customizable. you can change themes, icons, and install many applications that is not possible with other phones..
