Default Motorola Droid Razr Maxx: A Review

Pros: Despite of heavy battery, the slim and beautiful design of the Motorola Droid Razr Maxx can survive the scratch, drops, and liquid fall. It has slim body with the wide screen of 4.3 inches having Super Advanced display, 4G Data Transmission, dual core processor of 1.2 GHz while assuring the features like tight security and multimedia chops.

Cons: In spite of such an advanced smart phone, it disappoints in not specifying the promises made of future Android version Ice Cream Sandwich. The big and strong battery is good but it cannot be directly removed by the user. The 8 megapixel camera provided is not very impressive and the wide frame proves to be very uncomfortable for small hands.

It is made sure that before recording any final score a full battery test has been conducted and on this basis we assign a preliminary rating. Since the initial results provided are very good, the Motorola Droid Razr Maxx holds the Editors, Choice Award. The new Motorola Droid Razr Maxx is totally identical to the Motorola Droid Maxx but comparatively provides enhanced battery, the reviews provided here are according to our experience with its precursor.

Motorola has provided the statement that itís the worldsí first thinnest Droid Razr phone. This is the same company that started the craze of the thin phone by introducing Razr V3, which was a very good move.
But unfortunately the company canít keep up the same brag with the Motorola Droid Razr Maxx.on comparing the features of the original droid with the new Motorola Droid Razr Maxx it has the dimensions of 5.14x2.75x0.35 and weighing about 5.1 ounces and this new Maxx phone is heavier and slightly thicker than its previous version.

    User Interface
The Motorola Droid Razr Maxx runs on the same Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread version which is also provided in its previous version with the delicate touch of Motoblur feature. Here you donít have to frustratingly create an account before using any feature of the phone. The implementations used in this handset are similar to other Motorola handsets like the Droid Bioni and the Atrix 2. You can easily find out five customizable home screen with several widgets already installed on it. You can easily find out the dialer, camera, messaging and the main menu in the bottom of the home screen. After locking the cell phone it displays the typical clock digital, battery info and date as well. The best thing regarding this cell phone is its keyboard. It is having a virtual keyboard whose keys are having enough space to be frequently used by anyone.

Itís having all the features that come with the Android including GPS, Bluetooth, WI-Fi. It is having of being a hotspot of up to 8 Wi-Fi devices.

The Motorola Droid Razr Maxx is a very powerful Android phone with a very sleek design and a long distance battery life. The Maxx is very convincing, if you are good with not having latest version of Android 4.0 i.e. Ice Cream Sandwich and have big hands.
