Thread: 3G Speeds in Mumbai

Hey guys,I recently activated 3G in my mobile
and connected it to my computer to use it as a modem

The results were pretty good comparing latency


And Here are my home 512kbps results:

arent the speeds quite low since it should hav been arouund 3 mbps

The speed in 512kbps home broadband is quite great in comparison to the 3g mobile service!

It has the capability of serving upto 3.6mbps
But looking at the quality of equipment in India,
nearing 512kbps is an achievement

Countries like Japan hardly have wired-internet
They have 20mbps+ on wireless

But it is India
Don't compare it to Japan

theres lot of network traffic in cities so u probably wouldnt get those desired speeds
