Thread: mtnl for gujarat

hi guys.
I am from ahmedabad.
Is MTNL available in gujarat or do i have to buy ther 3g sim from mumbai?
I am impressed by there unlimited data plans and looking forward to use same.

I don't know if it is available in Gujrat, but if you buy from Mumbai then roaming is NO LONGER FREE! It used to be free earlier, but now it is NOT!

Check the MTNL website here and it NOW says that roaming data for both pre and post paid is 1p/10 KB

On the site it says data charges in home and roaming networks of 1p/10 kb applicable AFTER FREE DATA USAGE.
Anyways I will get the 3g sim from my relative in mumbai, get a short recharge of 22 and see. If it works then only will go for Rs 4500. No point in jumping for unlimited pack without checking howit works in Guj.

first clarify that mtnl sim work here in gujarat? even i want to buy that sim if its working in bsnl network and i want to recharge their 4500 rs plan but i think its not unlimited its have only 200gb

MTNL has all india roaming on BSNL network. if you have BSNL 3G network it will work.
on roaming also the data STV would function at the same rate as at home location.
