Thread: MTNL rationalizes 3G Data Plans, Rs. 4500 unlimited plan withdrawn

MTNL has revised its most of the 3G postpaid and prepaid data plans but contrary to the current market trend of increasing tariff or reducing free data, MTNL has increased free data in many of the plans.

Plan 4500 is still their. I confirmed today with Dwarka Telephone exchange.

I tweeted them -you have increased 3G data rates and discontinued Rs 4500 ul download plan - Reply: we have reduced 3 G rates!!

I just checked on their website and it says withdrawn.
(both 1 month and 6 month)

Yes it is officially confirmed now that 4500 plan has been withdrawn from Delhi circle and even the exisiting users speed is capped to 0.3 MBps who did 4500 recharge earlier

It is back w.e.f 26Jan-2012 but the price has gone up 4999 for 6 months.

It is not the same plan. Data validity is 100 GB only for 6 months.

MTNL Delhi has monthly rs 1650 unlimited 3G plan.( Not sure how many GB limit now!)

Rs 5000/100 GB/6 months equals approximate 17 GB usage per month with flexible 6 month expiry.

MTNL Mumbai is way cheap. But still MTNL Delhi is cheaper than BSNL ,who have sold their 3G business indirectly to private players by pricing equal to Aircel/Airtel/Vodafone /Reliance 3G
